Hands

During this shoot, I used a standard camera lense as I only wanted my images to focus on the paints and lighting. Just like my first shoot, I applied the paints and set my camera up for the best results. During this shoot, I thought I should try some different techniques as I hadn't tried anything different in the last photoshoot. For my experimentation/ different technique, I decided to take some out of focus images so that the light emitted of the paints would look like light orbs. The reason I decided to do this was to create an 'out of this world' feeling to my images. Despite this, some of them were not intentional but worked well. Taking images out of focus gives my images a totally different effect. Even though I tried some experimentation, I feel like I could of explored taking images out of focus on purpose to see how effective it is, so that I could have incorporated it into more of my photoshoots. Overall, this shoot was successful in some aspects, but not in others. My photographing technque was successful and so was my experimentation to an extent. However, I feel like for this theme to be successfull I need to be mindful of how I am using the paints and what would work well in images. For example, thinking of things that I could design and use on my portraits instead of just random patterns. For my next photoshoot, I am going to take simillar images again but think about how I could use the paints effectivley.

Hands Reshoot

The reason I decided to re take this photoshoot, was because I felt that it had potential to be better than they turned out first time.  During my first shoot, some of my images where blury. However, they worked effectivley, so I have decided to focus on this for my reshoot. This shoot was more succesful than my first attempt. This is because I have thought about how I wanted my images too look. Throughout this shoot, I thought about the patterns I could use and decuded that using two different patterns would add more detail.
